#9: The Invisible Man I was sort of keen on seeing this because it was from Blumhouse Studios. Other than that, it seemed quite cliche(from the trailers). Also, I saw reviews stating that the whole story was shown during the trailers. This was 30 minutes longer than it should've been. The CONSTANT slow pans around a room just got tedious to watch. It did not fit a film like this. In other horror films it makes sense because there's a chance that there'll be a visible creature or scary person. This film, you know for a fact that there isn't gonna be anyone there. Elizabeth Moss' performance was by far the best part of the film. She seemed very believable, as if she actually lost her mind. Weirdly, I think the only jumpscare I jumped at was when the dog food bowl was kicked. Literally every other jumpscare was in the trailer, so I saw them coming a mile away. The song that repeats throughout this film reminded me alot of The Prowler...

#9: EMMA. I only wanted to see this because of Anya Taylor-Joy, not interested in the period piece stuff. This was incredibly boring. I didn't like the whole latin/broken English dialogue. Not a fan of films that do that. This film would've worked a lot better if it was 30 or so minutes shorter as it did not warrant the 2 hours in terms of storytelling. The soundtrack was okay, very whimsical. During the opening 5 minutes I immediately lost interest in the film. Not even Anya could save this film for me. 1.5/10 #8: Dolittle This was my first film of February 2020. I wasn't really interested in seeing this prior to going into it. I did love the rendition of the 'Wonderful World' song that played during the trailers though. This was mediocre, and at times very predictable. I thought the squirrel's running gag of trying to get revenge on the kid who shot him at the start of the film was hilarious. Robert Downey's "British...

With the UK launch of Disney + being just over a month away, what better time for me to list 5 things I am hyped to watch/rewatch/continue watching. One is a classic, one is a on-going series, one is a Disney+ exclusive, another is a Nat Geo Documentary series and the last one is pretty much an entire franchise. Rewatch: The Simpsons The Spider-Man 1994 animated series Watch for the first time: Forky Asks a Question Nat Geo: Amazing Planet Rewatch/Continue watching: The Star Wars franchise (Will continue watching Mandalorian when Season 2 airs later this year)

#9 and #7: The Gentlemen This was my very first film of 2020. The trailers seemed very cheesy and uninteresting. This was immensely boring. The dry humour/long awkward pauses weren't funny. The actions were okay at best. I found the movie to be very long and drawn out. *3 weeks and 1 rewatch later* I chose to rewatch this instead of watching The Turning as I wanted to see if the film was indeed terrible or it was just based on how I felt that day I first watched. I can safely say that it was far more enjoyable on a second watch. Knowing how things played out definetley helped the jokes and punchlines land. Upon the second viewing, I did grow an appreciation for the set design. Loved Raymond's house, it was like something from an Ikea advert. All actor's performances were great, Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam and Michelle Dockery especially. First watch: 4/10 Second watch: 6/10 #8: Bombshell I was mainly interested in this because of Mar...
