Perfect Shots in Black Panther

Image
* In Remembrance of Chadwick Boseman* This week's edition of 'Perfect Shots in...' takes a somber look back at one of Chadwick Boseman's last films.  I have chosen 'Black Panther' as it was the movie that elevated him to super stardom. Chadwick was one of a few people who were perfectly cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He embodied T'Challas mannerisms, posture etc amazingly. It's an immense shame that he is no longer with us. 2018's Black Panther is an absolutely beautiful film that has always been hindered by rushed CGI during the 3rd act(Primarily, Killmonger fighting T'Challa underground, hence why it's not featured in these images). Great use of colours and set pieces. That being said, here are my choices for Perfect Shots in Black Panther: (My favourite shot in the film, as well as my favourite BP suit)

Casting: Marvel's Fantastic Four (Part 2)

Hello and welcome to part two of Casting: Marvel's Fantastic Four. In this post, I will be showcasing my picks for the Fantastic Four's main rogues gallery, that ofcourse being Silver Surfer, Doctor Doom and Galactus. Without further adieu, here are my casting choices: Billy Crudup as Silver Surfer Billy previously portrayed Dr. Manhattan in Zack Snyder's Watchmen(one of my all time favourite super hero movies) which inspired me to pick him. Adrien Brody as Victor Von Doom Casting Edward Norton as Reed Richards inspired this choice. Laurence Fishburne or James Earl Jones as the voice of Galactus Laurence originally voiced Silver Surfer in the 2007 Fantastic Four film. James voiced Darth Vader in the original Star Wars trilogy and Rogue One. I'd be happy with either of them voicing Galactus.

Tenet Review

This was my first cinema trip for the first time in 6 months, as well as my first trip in 8 or 9 years to Reel Cinema Widnes because my local cinema is still closed. I'm not a huge fan of Christopher Nolan, I like Batman Begins, perhaps my favourite film of his. This was visually impressive, brilliant choice in locations and set pieces. Amazing soundtrack. Clever mix of time bending and time travel. During the first 90 or so minutes, I wasn't that interested in the film. But, as soon as the scenes start overlapping, showing different perspectives, is when it starts picking up the pace and excitement. Two great scenes that stand out, in my opinion is the red/blue room and when the protagonists go back to the airport. This film is all about tying up loose ends that happened during the beginning of the story. I started off bored, but left majorly impressed. 8.3/10
