All films I saw in the cinema for the month of July 2021, ranked from worst to best. (SPOILER WARNING FOR ALL FILMS PICTURED) #9: OLD The only M.Night Shymalan films I've saw are from the 'Eastrail 177 trilogy', that ofcourse being 'Unbreakable', 'Split' and 'Glass'. Love all 3 of them films. I know he hasn't had clean sweep of great films, 'The Last Air Bender' and 'Lady In The Water' come to mind of ones that the large majority of viewers did not like. All the films I saw in the cinema during late May and June 2021 ranked from worst to best. SPOILER WARNING, for any of the films pictured above! #9: Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It I honestly did not want to see this, which is why I chose Billie Eilish attending an outdoor screening event of the film as the picture for my ranking. I haven't watched the previous Conjuring films. Walked out of a Cineworld Unlimited preview screening for Curse of La Larona 2 years ago when I realised there was like 9 jump-scares within a 5 minutes time span. I've never been one for jump-scare heavy horror films. I like when they feel warranted and aren't every 5 seconds. My favourite horror films of the past couple of years include Brightburn, Mark Hamill's Child's Play, Pet Semertary, Into The Tall Grass, both Brahms The Boys and UnderWater. * I really hope Patrick Wilson stops affliating himself with these types of films as this was absolutely dreadful. It's been over 14 months since I last done my monthly reviews and with Cineworld opening back up it's doors, I finally went back. So here it is, all the movies I saw during my first week back at Cineworld ranked from worst to best: #4: Frankie This was my last screening of my first week back at my local Cineworld, and also my first Unlimited screening since Little Women at the Warrington Cineworld back in December 2019. Going into this, I knew virtually nothing at all about this film apart from it starring Brendan Gleeson, Marisa Tomei and Isabella Huppert from 'Greta'. * This was ok. Overly drawn out. The 3rd act was probably the most enjoyable with the stunning exterior shots of the Portugal countryside and the score finally picking up. I was expecting one of the actors/actresses to wow me, but I felt like none of them even tried. It was like they were forced to act while they were on their own private holiday. Hello and welcome back to another edition of 'Casting...' Today, I have decided to fancast the characters in the MCU's Spider-Man Universe.  Tom Holland's 3rd Spider-Man film is coming this December and is shaping up to be one of the most crazy and stacked live-action Spider-Man films ever. From rumours of past portrayals returning(Jamie Foxx's Electro, Alfred Molina's Doc Ock etc.), Daredevil arriving in the MCU, etc. It opens a multi-verse of amazing possibilities. That's why I have decided to cast a few of MCU Spider-Man's villains/affiliates for the potential second trilogy.  I started this 'Casting...' back in January of this year, but never felt like finishing it until now. This documentary doesn't hold back as it gives a detailed, raw and intimate look at Billie Eilish's meteoric rise to fame from 2016 all the way to her achieving multiple Grammy awards in 2020. Billie is seemed to many as a recluse, brash A-List superstar, but during the 2 hour and 20 minute runtime comes across as one of the most relatable and down-to-Earth artists of this generation, even while being on sold-out arena tours. She is a really great singer and this documentary further solidifies that statement during the recording sessions where her true vocal talent is on display  with her brother, Finneas doing the instrumental tracks. I honestly did not know Billie suffers from tourettes and it was quite heartbreaking to see her during the more personal moments having episodes. As a big fan of both Katy Perry and Billie, I absolutely loved seeing their encounter at Coachella 2019, which is showcased in this film. I really hope they do a collabor...

Disney made an announcement a couple weeks ago at the their Investors Day event, showcasing the upcoming MARVEL, Disney, Star Wars and Pixar films and shows. A couple weeks after that, I decided to predict castings for future Star Wars projects and which upcoming show they could appear on. 5 characters, 3 male, 2 female: Michael Sheen as young Palpatine A show giving a visual re-telling to the chilling 'Darth Plaguis The Wise' monologue from Revenge of The Sith would honestly be really great and with the critical success of Michael Sheen's performance as Chris Tarrant in the ITV Drama 'Quiz' I think he would be good choice to play a younger, less powerful Palpatine. Guy Henry as Grand Admiral Thrawn Guy Henry has already been apart of the Star Wars universe as he provided the face motion capture and voice of Tarkin in 2016's Rogue One. This year has been a very crazy and unpredictable one. From cinemas closing down to massive blockbuster films being delayed again and again. I've only saw 28 or so films in the cinema this year, compared to the 110+ back in 2019. With cinemas being closed for the large majority of the year, I've had the chance to catch up on a few films I've not seen. Last year, I only catergorised films I saw in the cinema. But, for the first time ever, I will be catergorising films I saw at home that came out either before or during 2020 instead, with a small few cinema ones sprinkled in.
