#8: Can You Ever Forgive Me
This film was ok. It did drag at times. But, the story of the life of a forger was great.
Themes of loss and betrayal throughout.
I did love that it was based in NYC.
The ending was underwhelming, tbh.
Overall, an alright film.
5/10
#7: Escape Room
This was my first horror/thriller I've ever watched in a cinema. Definitely a gripping experience.
I previously planned to watch this when it had an Unlimited screening back in January but I changed it to Second Act.
This film was intense in every sense of the word. Excellent back stories for the lead characters. I hated that the ending sets up a future sequel, when it should've just kept to being 1 film.
6/10
#6: Alita Battle Angel
I wasn't too hyped for this when the teaser trailer was released last year.
I was mildly proven wrong.
The CGI for Alita herself was great when there was no physical actors on screen to compare her to.
The action scenes were wonderful.
Compelling story of a character figuring out her past life.
8/10
#5: Happy Death Day 2U
I didn't watch the first one. Still managed to really enjoy it.
Surprisingly heartfelt and emotional at times.
Great themes of sacrifice and alternate lives.
Going into it, I wasn't expecting to love it.
8/10
#4: How To Train Your Dragon 3: The Hidden World
Enjoyed the first one. Never saw the second.
This film felt like a great conclusion to a good franchise.
Toothless stole the show, as always.
6/10
#3: LEGO Movie Pt.2
Great sequel.
Without a doubt the best out of the two. All the jokes were hilarious.
Never a dull/boring moment.
7.5/10
#2: Green Book
I didn't seem really enticed to watch it after watching the trailer. But wow, it blew me away.
The relationship between Tony and Don was a rollercoaster. At times, you'll be laughing with them. Then, sad seeing sudden conflict  between the two.
Great road trip film, loved it.
8/10
#1: Fighting With My Family
I knew about this film for over two years now.
Going into it, I was expecting not to like it as it may be historically inaccurate. Oh my god, I was wrong!
Such an awesome film. Got very emotional at times.
Florence Pugh done an absolutely perfect job portraying Paige.
Probably a little biased because I love pro-wrestling/WWE. All in all, loved every minute of it!
10/10
